Support Today's Teachers

R. Lee and Barbara Harris are the founding donors for the Today’s Teacher program. They are the primary donors for the Tomorrow’s Teacher Scholarship program benefitting students attending Kansas State University and studying to become teachers. The Tomorrow’s Teacher program was launched in 1999 and Today’s Teacher is an outgrowth of that program.

Lee and Barb have a vision for the Today’s Teacher program to see it expand into many communities throughout the state of Kansas. For this to happen, more funding is needed from individuals and businesses across the state. While teaching will never be financially lucrative, together, we can help those in the profession gain a better standard of living while providing a great service to their communities.
